Mariner Village

Mariner Village is a great place to live. A quiet community or 330 single family homes located on the west side of Federal Highway (Rt 1) just over a mile south of Cove Road. Centex developed this neighborhood between 1993 and 1998 using a number of floor plans for both one and two story homes. All the homes are stucco over concrete block (CBS) and have barrel tile roofs. The landscaping and trees now fully mature and the subdivision's two lakes provide a home for a variety of wildlife as well as beautiful to the eye.

The neighborhood welcomes all ages and presently has a good mix of families from newlywed to seniors. If you're up early on mornings during the school year, you'll see school buses picking up children of all ages to transport them to on of Martin County's top rated schools. There is a community pool, tennis courts, basketball court and soon a shuffle board as well as plenty of tree lined streets to ride a bike or sidewalks for those looking to get exercise by walking the neighborhood. The present (July 2016) homeowner fee of $190 per month covers all of these and their maintenance. It also covers front yard mowing and shrub maintenance, basic cable, security, management fees and a substantial reserve fund in the event of an uninsured natural disaster (hurricane, fire or flood).

The social committee does a fabulous job arranging a once a month BYO cocktail party at the community pool as well as the Christmas Stroll and an annual Holiday Party held in early December with dining and dancing at a nearby private club. There is also a men's golf league, tennis leagues, book clubs, ladies lunch groups and the list goes on. A resident can be as active as they want and if one really wants to get involved, there's always need for energetic volunteers on one of the many committees or on the board of directors which do a great job of keeping the neighborhood as nice as it is.

Lastly, the location of our community is south of the Stuart business district but close enough to enjoy all the amenities including shopping, Sailfish Splash Water park, the many restaurants and marinas on Stuart's natural harbor (Manatee Pocket), numerous golf courses within a mile, and the gem of Stuart, our downtown district. Our southern Stuart location also makes destinations in Hobe Sound, Tequesta and Jupiter a short and easy trip down route one.
